WELCOME INSIDE VIC'S ROCKS 'N THINGS !

I love to while away the hours in my shop, which is decorated like an old twine shed, sitting at my table working on my arts and craft projects.

Locals and tourists drop in all the time to visit, and I enjoy talking to people about what I'm working on. It's a great place to stop in, especially on a grey foggy day.

When I'm not in my shop, I'm out beachcombing and searching for little interesting objects, that with a little imagination, I can turn into a unique piece of art. You know the old saying: One person's "junk" is another person's "treasure".

The materials I use are endless: beach glass, weathered wood, stones, old bits of net, boards and metal from the fishery, feathers, fish bones, man-made materials like styrofoam, you name it, I can make something interesting with it.

My prices are very reasonable, from just a few dollars for my small hand-painted crafts, to over $100 for some of my more intricate works of art. Hey, I'm not doing this to become a millionaire. I do it because I love what I do, it's fun, it helps the environment, and I enjoy making people smile when they see my quirky things.

There is definitely something for everybody here, and you will go home with a one-of-a-kind souvenir of your trip to Grates Cove, Newfoundland.

Below is just a sampling of my unique pieces of art. And if you're interested in buying a lovely photograph, check out my photo gallery. I am an avid digital photographer, and you can buy prints, postcards and photos at my shop as well.

And after you've browsed through my shop and we've had a long chat about my art, the weather, and what to do and see in Grates Cove, head over to our local cafe, Beyond Baccalieu for a scoff!
